“New York, New York” Synopsis
In the midst of the 1960s Beatles-rock and classical Broadway music, teenage dreams across the State are flying freely outside their minds. It apparently happened to the Willards, a rich well-known family in Charleston. The family was not exactly the one that gets along. John Willard, the oldest child in the family had escaped to New York to follow his dreams as a Broadway performer. Then three years later, Anna Willard, the second child of the four, also decided to run away from the planned engagement with Charleston’s most eligible bachelor, Charles Smith.
Anna went to Manhattan, New York and found out that John was basically jobless due to the fact that Broadway has decided to fire him as an actor. When she had the attempt to help him to get back on his feet, she encounters James, a penniless New Yorker and fell quickly in love. When Charles and his bodyguards arrived in the city to threaten James, Anna had to decide what to do – to continue being responsible for leaving the family and soon-to-be fiancé, or to follow just her heart and stay with James?

Blair: “I will not be weak anymore. You can’t run. You have to stay here and hear it this time. Chuck Bass, I love you… so much it consumes me. I love you, and I know you love me to. Tell me that you love me. Everything we’ve done - all the gossips, the lies, and the hurts - they’ll be worth of something. Tell me it’s worth of something.
